After the continuing success and the rising interest in Patristic and Byzantine Studies in the UK and internationally, it has been decided to explore their common ground, the various possibilities for further cooperation, and any future research and teaching opportunities.
A Study Week dedicated to interdisciplinary research in the fields of theology and medieval studies with special emphasis in Patristics and Byzantine studies, will be held in the first week of July 2015 at Wolfson College, Oxford, and the House of St Gregory and St Macrina as well as in the House of St Theosevia, a place of Orthodox teaching, worship and ecumenical dialogue established by the circle of the late Russian scholar and intellectual of the 20th century, Nicholas Zernov.
